Content Development

Have a big presentation coming up for work, or school...? We can work together to ensure solid content construction in your presentation. I will make sure you learn and utilize important speech components in your speech and wow your audience. Good writing, organization, and visuals are a must!

Delivery Preparation & Practice

90% of communication is nonverbal. What does this mean…? It means that the content of your speech could be amazing, but if you do not deliver it effectively, it doesn’t matter how great your content is.

In the delivery of your speech is where nonverbal communication needs to shine. It also means that our bodies are vehicles for communication. From eye contact, hand gestures, proxemics (body spacing), facial expressions, and the subtle intangibles, I will coach you to understand what effective nonverbal communication is and how to implement it into your presentation. You will also learn to utilize silence to your advantage and put a STOP to the “uhms…!” “Uhms are dumbs…!”

Overall, you will start to realize that great speakers utilize a conversational tone and authenticity in their speeches, just as they do in personal conversation. It’s all about confidence and being genuine. We will go over Aristotle’s three canons of rhetoric - logos / pathos / ethos. These will be the foundation of your success as a brilliant communicator.

There are always three speeches, for every one you actually gave. The one you practiced, the one you gave, and the one you wish you gave.
